Bus routes to be cut that would affect Malden Highschool students:
106, 108 (cut completely)
430 (will now only run on Sundays)
411 will be the only MBTA bus available to MHS students on weekdays!
How will getting rid of these buses affect the students?
Unable to get to school in the morning
Unable to get home or where ever they need to go after school
Unable to afford new fare > a lot of the students under age 16 don't have their own job and paying for these buses every single day could become an inconvenience.
The maps below show the routes which the buses that are no longer going to be accessable take. We can use these maps in helping us decide the route our new bus(es) will take.
